The act of defiance that helped bring Katniss and Peeta to victory helps inspire rebellion in the districts of Panem, prompting President Snow (Donald Sutherland) to stage another competition where the pair must face off against previous Hunger Games champions.
THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1, 2014, Lionsgate, 123 min. Dir. Francis Lawrence. With the Hunger Games arena in ruins, Katniss becomes the symbol for the uprising against the Capitol masterminded by District 13’s leader (Julianne Moore).

As the sci-fi franchise reaches its action-packed conclusion, Katniss and her team must infiltrate the Capitol and kill President Snow to end the conflict – but is she just being used? As with its blockbuster predecessors, MOCKINGJAY PART 2 features a star-studded cast including Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone and Philip Seymour Hoffman (in his final film role).
