Noir City: Hollywood, 15th Annual Festival Of Film Noir
Dean Mora's Swingtet, Burlesque, Drinks, Gambling Den, Mugshots, Noir CIty Scavenger Hunt
Noir City 15th Anniversary Closing Night Party: ROAD HOUSE
Presented in collaboration with the Film Noir Foundation. Sponsored by Distillery No. 209 and Tito's Handmade Vodka.

Cancel that jewelry story heist and the visit to your bookie. You can postpone the kidnapping and the extortion phone calls too - because we need you to be part of our racket on Sunday. We're celebrating 15 long years (and we don't mean in the state "pen") of Film Noir on the big screen in at the Egyptian Theatre!

Pull the brim of your fedora down low over your face and jump on the Red Car to join a bevy of other shady characters for a celebration - Noir City style. Set the mood with a screening of ROAD HOUSE starring Ida Lupino, Cornel Wilde, Celeste Holm and Richard Widmark, immediately followed by a party at Jefty’s (Egyptian Theatre) Courtyard "Road House"!

PARTY TIMELINE
6PM: Screening of ROAD HOUSE
7:30PM: Dinner is served and bar opens. Party till midnight!
Our Box Office will be open until 9PM for latecomers.

FOOD AND DRINK
Feast on an Italian dinner that would make Lucky Luciano's mama proud! The menu will include pasta with vegetarian and/or beef sauces, green salad, garlic bread and dessert.

Wet your beak and tip a few martinis, gin fizzes or brews in the lounge of the "Antlers Hotel!" All ticket holders will have a choice of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages from our bar.

ENTERTAINMENT
Shuffle with a dame or sailor to the rhythms of the Dean Mora Swingtet and the sweetest canary you'll ever hear tweet.

Don't let the coppers catch you gambling when they raid the burlesque show!

Every guest will have a chance to get their mugshot taken by Paper Moon Photos!

And of course, no trip to Jefty's Road House would be complete without bowling!
See Ida take a bowling lesson in the film.

ATTIRE
Step into Noir City! Come as a femme fatale, gumshoe, gun moll or mobster (or come as you are - no special attire required)! When shopping for your glad rags this week get discounts at Vintage Vortex in Los Feliz (10%) and Iguana Vintage Clothing in Hollywood (15%) when you mention Film Noir!

ROAD HOUSE
1948, 20th Century Fox, 95 min, USA, Dir: Jean Negulesco

A star-powered faceoff between two film noir legends! Sparks fly when sassy Ida Lupino takes a job crooning in psychotic Richard Widmark's rural roadhouse. When she throws him over for his boyhood chum (Cornel Wilde), things really heat up. Ida sings the classics "One for My Baby" and "Again."
