George Barris Tribute! Double Feature!
We remember custom car designer George Barris (November 20, 1925 – November 5, 2015) with a 50th anniversary double bill of these big-screen versions of classic 1960s TV series.
50th Anniversary!

BATMAN (1966)
1966, 20th Century Fox, 105 min, USA, Dir: Leslie Martinson

The "Batman" TV show spawned this feature-length opus, bringing to the big screen more tongue-in-cheek antics from Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) as they battle a villainous alliance of the Penguin (Burgess Meredith), the Joker (Cesar Romero), the Riddler (Frank Gorshin) and Catwoman (Lee Meriwether).

35 mm!
50th Anniversary!

1966, Universal, 96 min, USA, Dir: Earl Bellamy

Fred Gwynne, Yvonne DeCarlo, Al Lewis and Butch Patrick reprise their TV roles (with newcomer Debbie Watson as the beautiful Marilyn) as the classic 1960s sitcom arrives on the big screen in color. The Munsters set sail to England after Herman inherits an estate there, but the British side of the family (including a delightful Terry-Thomas) will stop at nothing to hold on to Munster Hall. Costarring John Carradine and Hermione Gingold.

Screening formats: DCP (BATMAN), 35mm (MUNSTER, GO HOME!)
