With Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film, THE WIND RISES, now hitting screens, it’s the perfect time to look at the legacy of Studio Ghibli. Along with Miyazaki’s beloved favorites KIKI’S DELIVERY SERVICE, PORCO ROSSO, HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE and MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO, we’ll screen Ghibli co-founder Takahata’s ONLY YESTERDAY, GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES and MY NEIGHBORS THE YAMADAS, as well as Yoshifumi Kondo’s WHISPER OF THE HEART and Tomomi Mochizuki’s OCEAN WAVES.
